WangGong 王功
After FangYuan, our ChangHua Coastal Ride took a brief detour inland, then reached WangGong Harbor back close to shore.

WangGong Lighthouse
Near the WangGong Harbor was a cool lighthouse with white and black stripes.

Wind Turbine Farms
North of WangGong there were a few wind turbines. There was also a matrix of smaller wind turbines.

Wetland
Another cool feature here was the wetlands. Depending on the tide level, there was path to go deep into the shore.

LuKang Old Town 鹿港
Having enough of the shore ride, we started riding inland again, passing one of the most famous old towns in Taiwan, LuKang (鹿港).
LuKang was formerly an affluent town hundreds years ago. The historical buildings were well preserved when the rail construction passed the town, making LuKang lost its importance. Now the town is one of the main tourist sites in central Taiwan.
