Switzerland Feldschloesschen Brewery
During my Europe trip I was able to visit Switzerland’s Feldschloesschen Brewery. Located just at the border to Germany’s black forest, this brewery was founded in 1876 and brewed traditional German type beers.
The Switzerland Feldschloesschen Brewery was kind of cool in a way that it was a mixture of a 19 century factory and a castle.
Big chimney tower…
And high castle tower!
The other side was Germany.
Brewery’s pub house.
Keg storage.
Inside the Building
After the tour started we entered into the brewery.
Switzerland Feldschloesschen Brewery was part of Carlsburg Group, an international beer conglomerate. These were their brands.
Different malts.
Dry hops, as cones and as pellets.
The old main brewing room.
Celler/Fermentation Area
After the tour inside the brewery we went to Switzerland Feldschloesschen Brewery’s celler/old fermentation area.
First fermentation barrels.
Then switching to big fermentation tanks.
Inside the cellar was also old ice gathering tool (for pure water for brewing).
New Brewing Facility
Of course, as now being a semi-commercial brewery, Switzerland Feldschloesschen Brewery now also had standard stainless steel brewing equipment and packaging line.
Other Old Stuff
As an over hundred year old brewery, Switzerland Feldschloesschen Brewery had other cool stuff still in its factory, like trains, old fire trucks, even a horse house so they still transports beers to the town via horses!

Brewpub
Finally the best part of brewery tour: drink beer and eat!
