23 Brewing company are American-found Taiwanese brewery. We talked about their sour beer before, and here we look at their #23 IPA, the IPA that bears the brewery’s name.
Amber, light brown, not the typical pale yellow for IPA (India Pale Ale). Thick creamy head.
Floral, fresh grass, earthy, resin. A little bit of orange. According to the label it has Chinook and Simcoe hops.
Zesty from the bubbles, then quite amount of astringent kind bitterness. Malty and not acid. After taste has quite a bit lingering bitterness.
